Great.
Here's a conversation I just had.
Me: "So, are you gonna take me to the box office on Saturday morning?"
Dad: "...Do you have money?"
Me: "I've got like ...forty dollars."
Dad: "What, you're just going to buy one ticket?"
Me: "Man, I just wanna go."
How can he do this to me? I simply can't believe it. I thought for sure he'd let me borrow some money, at the very least. I don't understand this. After I missed the Van Halen concert, one of the biggest concerts of my lifetime, he's making me miss this one --the ABSOLUTE biggest concert of my lifetime.
I'm crying as I type this.
I don't understand how he can do something like this to me.
No amount of huge concerts will or can make up for this. Not Journey, nor Mötley Crüe, nor Def Leppard, nor Robert Plant, nor Chicago, nor Santana, nor any number of them or those listed in my previous entry combined can make up for this one concert. The biggest concert of my LIFETIME.
How can he do this to me?!

//hearing: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Refugee
//thinking: Yay! I mean ...crap.
Behold! My new layout. Changed due to the fact that someone's pointed out that we've got the same layout ..and I was feeling in need of a bit of a change. I had many attempts at making myself a Jimmy Page layout, all failed. (Can you believe there are no Jimmy Page layouts on the interweb? What's up with that?) I must admit, this layout is a bit messy, but I love it nonetheless. The designer at Migraine Designs is probably my absolute favourite designer, although I'm not sure they're designing any more. It's a shame, really.
Anywho. The other day I was sorting through some old records (every time I do, I find some I've never seen before), and I saw that we have a copy of Peter Frampton's I'm In You. I simultaneously affirmed that anyone who does not find him amazingly talented and amazingly gorgeous must be either deaf..or blind. There you go, biznatches.
So anyway, as of today, there are only twenty days until Blow-Up on TCM, which means twenty days until I stop reminding myself how many days are left until Blow-Up on TCM. Heh heh heh. On Sunday-the-5th, there shall be some "60s Experience" show on PBS--let's hope it's not a tribute show. I can't stand people doing live covers of my favourite songs. It's a good thing I never heard Hillary Duff do "My Generation". *shudder* I was so damn pissed when I found out about that. First of all, it's not her generation in any manner at all. Second, you can't just change the lyrics. Yep. She changed the lyrics to "I hope I don't die before I get old". WTF is that?! It defeats the entire purpose of the song! Hillary Duff is someone that I am ashamed to say is living in the same time period as I. Why doesn't she fade away?
Leave it up to me to make obsure references. Anyway, it's official. I heard it. Stones tickets go on sale Saturday, 11 June, at 10:00 AM. The lowest price is $65, which is amazingly low, because some of the Van Halen tickets last November were up to $80. (Of course, the lowest were probably about $25.) Nonetheless, I didn't go ..but I'll get off that already. I must go see the Stones. (Even if the show really does comprise of a dead Mick Jagger on puppet strings. Heck, I'd do him anyway.)
There tons of people coming to Arizona this summer/fall, like ...
- George Thorogood & the Destroyers (whom I want to see, but I can't risk losing those Stones tix)
- Al Green
- Tom Jones & the Tower of Power (oh, Hooray!)
- Journey
- WAR
- Velvet Revolver (WHAT?! I just found this out. Too bad I won't be there ... I need to keep repeating to myself, "Just remember, Mick Jagger... MICK JAGGER...")
- Mötley Crüe (Errhh, I missed them twice already. It's a drag, yes..)
- Santana (oh, my dad BETTER take me to this one.)
- Def Leppard (WOOHOO! ..wait.. damn!)
- The Moody Blues (it's going to be a drag not seeing someone that I've been listening to since I was six ...oh wait. I've been listening to the Stones since I was three.)
- Judas Priest (ehhh.)
- Robert Plant (OHMYGOD. Oh well ..at least it's not Jimmy Page.)
- Ted Nugent
- Chicago (AGGHHH. Why? WHY?! If I don't go to the Stones, I BETTER go to this one.
- Paul McCartney (I'm not too gassed about this one, 'cause my dad said he'd think about letting me go to both the Stones and Paul McCartney, but that's only because he likes the Beatles about 437 times more than the Stones. [Alright, the Beatles are one of the most awesome bands ever, but I dunno what's wrong with 'im.])
- (Drumroll please ...) The Stones! ..You know the rest.
Man, Arizona is actually getting some action this year.
And I can't be a part of most of it.
I'm going to go cry in confusion. Peace.
